Field Studies

The Field study, sometimes referred to as Ethnographic Research, is borrowed from the field of Anthropology.  The purpose is to observe individuals in their daily tasks, and in the context in which those daily tasks occur.

Typically it means spending an hour to two, sitting quietly and taking notes, trying to learn how and why users perform their tasks.  How is usually easier than why, but the why is important.

Let us help you set up a field study and help you understand why your users chose your software, why the choose to continue using your software, and how we can make them even more loyal by giving them an engaging and productive experience.
